Just did a clean uninstall of the previous version, followed instructions exactly.
Installed the latest version which now doesn't even launch for me.
Did all the reboots in between as well.
Now I get the following error of:
"No G.SKILL Trident Z RGB DRAM module(s) found on your computer system! Program will be terminated."
RAM: F4-3200C14Q-32GTZR
Motherboard: GA-Z170X-UD3
BIOS: F22
OS: Windows 10 64bit

Latest software update didn't fix my dark RAM, tired of dealing with it just going to have to put in an RMA and get something different.
At first the program refused to open, it finally did but my 1 ram stick is still dark -- uninstalled and reinstalled again to give it another shot, now my 2nd ram stick has gone dark as well now.Last edited by MeiBee; 03-28-2017, 06:59 AM.

First I did the clear cmos option of my motherboard, then I uninstalled the Aura program and rebooted. After that, I installed and ran the Trident Z RGB Control and chose default option and voilĂ ... The four RAMs works perfectly again!!!
So I did the clear uninstall process and now I can use the Aura program without problems.
I hope this will help someone else...
PS. Now I pretty sure this is software problem.

When I first put the system together and installed the GSkill Software v1.00.08beta the rightmost dimm (furthest from cpu) colour wasnt contollable by the software. I thought it was bad dimm but when I switched it the issue stayed with the slot not the dimm. When I came here I read the clean uninstall process and followed that and then reinstalled and it now all works fine.
It would seem strange that resolved the issue as it was a first time install prior to the clean uninstall but it did.
Hope this helps someone with the same mobo

PS I have requested that Gigabyte look into integrated control of the dimm colour into their RGB Fusion software so hope GSkill can work with them. The Aorus Gigabyte motherboards are awesome as is this memory.
I've got the same MB as you and the clean uninstall worked for me as well.

I'm using 4 RAM on the MAXIMUS IX HERO Z270 Asus motherboard.
I hope a software update can solve the problem, I don't want to request the RMA right now.
Sorry for any orthographic error, english isn't my native langage.

By your reasoning, you don't give a toot about power conservation or longevity of your LED's on your ram modules. So i got a solution to you... when they figure out a way to automatically turn the led's off when entering a hibernating/sleep state, how about you Disable your computers' hibernation all together and enjoy your flashing lights and higher electric bill. not to mention for you to be not all surprised when your system dies a year or 2 sooner than you were expecting from leaving it on all the time, without sleep mode.

ehh.
It's a non-starter for me.
Biostar X370GT7
Ryzen7 1700
Gskill RGB @ 3200mhz (2933@C14)
program does not detect RGB DIMM's and fails to start.
Tried switching DIMM slots and then it only detected 8 gigs of memory? even though both dimms showed up as 8 gigs? WTF biostar. didn't try to start the computer further from bios as i didn't want to risk damaging anything from a very obvious error. sticks are back in the 2-4 position.
