Given the similar nature of my situation to fiatuno49's, do you think I should be RMAing the memory, the motherboard, or both?

What I found strange was that fiatuno49 was able to run memtest one stick at a time without receiving any errors, and yet when he RMA'd it to GSKILL they found one of the sticks to be defective.

Tell you what. I bought all the parts on July 5th, so I should have roughly 5 days left to RMA the parts. I'm going to head over to Best Buy tonight after work and purchase a 2133 memory kit and see if the mobo has any trouble with the XMP profile/manual settings. They have a 30 day return policy so I should be fine.

Oh also, my friend told me to install INF driver. He said he was having the same problem and it supposedly fixed it.

Could be, the drivers tell the OS what components the mobo has, how set up etc, otherwiese the OS uses generic MS drivers

Interesting. I'll go ahead and try that out when I get home and post my results! As always, thanks for all of the help!

That's a negatory. INF drivers did nothing to help lol. Next tactic is to switch between every possible bios version to see if any of them will accept the 2133 XMP profiles/manual settings with a stable boot. I wont have the free time to go purchase a 2133 kit until Wednesday, and I'm a bit worried because the company (not best buy since they dont have 2133 modules) is less than reputable. Fun times!

Again I'm at a loss, there's been a few problems with this mobo recently and in wondering if a bad batch went out, now wondering if I just got lucky, I've probably put at least a 8-10 sets of DRAM in mine and with 1.6 no problems with any of them under XMP or OCing, have also used 4 different GPUS, a couple power supplies, different hard drives and even stuck a 2500K in at one point, and it's like the Energizer Bunny, just keeps plugging away no matter what I throw at it. Sorry I can help more or come up with a definitive answer

Okay just tried XMP and manual settings with versions 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.8, and 2.0 and none of them would boot. Guess it's time to go and buy and test another memory kit tomorrow and if those dont work then I guess it's the mobo.

Ahahah, I appreciate how thoughtful you are. The place I'll be purchasing a set from isn't a major retailer but they did say I'll have 15 days to return any product I buy so I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
