I did raise the VCCSA from stock to 1.1 but no luck. Today I updated my motherboard's BIOS to V1.90 and still no go (boot loops). Error 23 on the Debug LED when I set RAM frequency to 2400MHz.

Anyways, I have another 2400 MHz kit coming in so lets see if that works @ 2400 MHz. If not then... well I need a better CPU

        CPU compatibility

I have been following the instructions on this thread and still unsuccessful
        I have F3-2400C10D-8GTX with i7 3770K on Z77 Ex6, still stuck on bootloops at Err 23 even with vccsa 1.1 +

Can it be that it might be that the CPU cant run 2400 at CL10
on top of the Asrock Website's compatibility list there is also the intel compatibility list
For i5 cores, the highest listed was 2133MHZ at CL 9 and not CL10 for the Z77 ex6

        http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/...datasheet.html

For i7 cores, the highest listed was 2400Mhz at CL9 OR CL11 but not CL10

        http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/...datasheet.html

        The listed compatible mobo for i7 Z77 Ex6 was CL9 Gskill F3-2400C9D-8GTXD but not the CL10 F3-2400C10D-8GTX
The best settings in my case was 2133Mhz with 10-10-10, it seems to run with less stutter than 2200Mhz 10-15-15.

I guess have to wait for StrikerX to confirm if it was a Mobo or CPU compatibility issue.

Should be able to, but the more I see, I think they have a BIOS problem, good example is they list the CL9 which is tighter and harder to run and the 11 set which would be easiest of the three including yours, also, I have the EX4 mobo of theirs and when I updated to the latest BIOS (2.0) I could no longer run my 2133/32GB set at 2400, while if I go back to the 1.4 or 1.6 versions (which are ones I helped with, so I'm back on 1.6). Might want to contact ASRock can contact them at tsd@asrockamerica.com, support@asrockamerica.com or pablomedina@asrockamerica.com....or all three

            Confused

Got a reply from Asrock with image claiming that it works, I have tried their instructions and still cant break the 2200 Mhz mark. Asrock thinks that it might be the ram, but i have followed the Gskill Ivy bridge 2400 test (the sticky at the main page) and the ram is not defective since it can boot at 2133Mhz.
I ran a memtest also to confirm if the ram functions properly since my other computer is running 2700K and I dont know anyone else with a Z77 mobo.

REPLY FROM ASROCK COPY AND PASTE:

Tested G.Skill F3-2400C10D-8GTX memory on Z77 Extreme6 andLoad XMP Profile to [DDR3-2400], system boot normally.

And system do Prime95 test for 10 hours is passed, please kindly referto the attached picture to check the test result.

            Below is our test configuration.

            M/B: Z77 Extreme6

            CPU: i7-3770K

            Memory: G.Skill F3-2400C10D-8GTX

            VGA: GTS450

            PSU: OCZ 750W

            BIOS: P1.90

            OS: Windows 7 64bit

            Please follow below for testing.

            1. Load BIOS default settings and only adjust "Load XMPProfile" to [DDR3-2400] to try again.

            2. Install the memory to other DRAM slots for testing.

            3. Only install a stick memory by turns to check whether the symptomstill occur.

            4. Increase some DRAM voltage for testing.

            5. If possible, please try the memory on other M/B to check whetherthe memory works at DDR3-2400 normally.

Note: The O.C. mode is not guaranteed. It depends on whole systemconfiguration and other parameters.

            -----------------END------------

            My testing Slots
            1. Slot A2 B2 as recommended by Asrock Website
            2. Slot A1 B1
            3. Slot A2 Single
            4. Slot B2 Single

Test Procedure for each slot configuration above
            A. Reset to default
            B. Set Speed to 2400
            C. Try to Boot
            D. Reset to def
            E. Set XMP to profile 1, leave Speed at auto
            F. Try to Boot
            G. Reset to def
            H. Set Speed at 2400
            I. VCSSA to 1.107V
            J. Try to boot.
            K. Reset to def
            L. VCSSA to 1.107V + DRAM 1.75 (mentioned in earlier post)
            M. Try to boot

None of them can break 2200 Mhz and still same Error 23 At XMP 2400

            Giving up
            I. Reset to default
            II. Set speed to 2133
III. Boot and try to live with it after spending a couple of hours testing
IV. Get annoyed and post results so far
            V. Get more annoyed and run memtest to double check ram which passes.
VI. Accept the fact that it might become end of life model by the time its fixed.

I'm emailing back Asrock with pics as well to see what they can suggest.

My specs if anyone wants to know

Looks like they are going to blame the ram, I dont know anyone else that has a Z77 atm.

So if anyone else can test their ram in a diff mobo and post a screenie of it working at 2400Mhz 10 12 12 31 that would be appreciated.

This way at least I can sort of rule out the mobo, unless g.skill has a different way to confirm if the ram is faulty.

I passed the ivy test at the sticky post because I can boot at 2133 XMP, i can even boot at 2200Mhz.

I also passed memtest with no errors twice... and ran PRIME95 no problems; at this point from my previous experience with ram problems that I had, the RMA will just say that there is no problem since the shop where I bought the RAM from uses these methods for RAM testing:

                1. Burn in
                2. memtest
                3. PRIME 95

as a note I know this because I had to RMA a corsair DDR2 ram previously.

                Any comments... anyone

                    What did you need?

                    BIOS 1.9

                    VCCSA 1.107V (0.925, 1.016, 1.107, 1.2)
                    DRAM 1.65 or 1.75 (incr by 0.05)
CPU Auto (OPT: Fixed Mode / Offset)
                    XMP is at Profile 1 (OPT: Auto / Profile 1 DDR3-2400Mhz 10 12 12 31 1.65V; / Profile 2 DDR3-2400 10-12-12-31 1.65V)
VTT is at Auto (Ive tried at 1.15)
DRAM Frequency is currently set to DDR3-2133 (DDR3-1066 - DDR3-2800)
DRAM Configuration is all on Auto (at 2133 its displaying 10 10 10 28 2t)

The DRAM config can be set manually at 10 12 12 31 2T but it will not boot if DRAM frequency is set over 2200Mhz

                    BCLK: 100Mhz
                    Ratio: 16x - 39x
Ive tried auto OC the CPU incrementally using the quick Turbo to 4.0Ghz 4.2Ghz 4.4Ghz, im using TPC812 Cooler.

If using Asrock's instructions to attempt
                    Load Defaults
                    XMP Auto
                    DDR3 Freq set to DDR3-2400
                    Try to boot.

The secondary or advanced DRAM timings, also if vCore is on either fixed or offset and the setting it's at as well as the multiplier
