i tried 2n and still got a freeze at 1.55v . I set my timings back to stock except for the tras i left at 100.
Normally bad timings cause a bsod, but i get a unrecoverable freeze instead. no bsod.
my board does want to auto set timings in the 11's. So it could very well be the timing i guess.-Asus Ramage iii Formula

I went ahead and dropped the timings back to stock 9-9-9-25 i put the command rate back to 1T. only gives me a 1ns improvement in benchmark but w/e. the trfc is 100. So far the system has been stable. I'm going to lower my dram voltage back to 1.51 and see if it holds. There is very little vdroop on dram voltages.-Asus Ramage iii Formula

now that i believe the ram is stable, I had an idea about the page file.
I made a 4gb ramdisk and set the page file to use that. Basically eliminating my virtual page file Muahahahaha-Asus Ramage iii Formula

Very good, what you might think about next would simply be to monitor DRAM usage which can give you an idea as to whether you can raise the size of the RAMDisk if you like and add more to it, they are fun to play with and can really boost speed

......and to think many were hesitant about wanting 8 let alone 16 or more GB just a couple years back, but I know the feeling, I'm looking to move at least one of my P67s to 32GB.....and in a couple months, X79 and 64
