Would you be so kind as to provide me with the baseline primary and secondary timings for my new 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 Ripjaws memory module set? I have the set installed in the black DIMM slots in the mobo.
I already have the 7-7-7-21 and 1.5 DRAM voltage settings from the sticker on the modules.
MemOK! said success! in a BIOS message but I haven't gotten more than 15 minutes without a crash so far. This is interesting since I saw this set as a memory module set certified by ASUS in the downloadable list.
I am currently not running the system overclocked. The CPU is at its base 3.2 GHz speed.
Edit: I updated the BIOS to v. 3027 about twenty minutes ago and it seems pretty stable. I might just run Borderlands/Crysis2 to see how it goes.
update: Played Borderlands for 30 minutes w/o any crashes @1600 x 900
