  • ASUS M4A79T Deluxe & F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR (8Gb/1600) unstable issues.

    Hey,

    I had in my computer:

    Processor: Phenom II X4 955
    Motherboard: ASUS M4A79T deluxe
    VGA: ASUS ATi Radeon HD4890 - 256bit
Memory: ADATA TRIPLE DDR3 bus 1333Mhz Overclock Stand
    OS: Windows 7 Enterprise x64

Then I switch the ADATA's with the kit F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR. But It works quite unstablely.
I take a look at the Motherboards List in http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=390 and I don't see M4A79T deluxe on it. So does it mean I have to go on with another kit or is there anyway to fix the problem?

    Plz help.
    Thanks a lot.

You need to configure settings in BIOS.

    http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=7688

Or to avoid overclocking, input DDR3-1333 8-8-8-24 1.50V and it can be stable as well. Lower frequency with lower timings will be just as quick.

    Thank you

I tried to set up BIOS by the Method #2 in http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=7688 But my computer could not start up.
So I changed the input to DDR3-1333 8-8-8-24 1.50V and it works fine for the last two days.
If there any problem further, I'll inform you guys.

          Thank you again.

              Hey guys.
I think there's still something wrong.
I started to get kicked out of my games if I ran the computer in more than 4-5h. It happened rarelly, maybe 2 or 3 times a day.
It's there anyway to fix it?

              Thanks.

Memtest86+ one stick at a time to see if one may be bad.

Do you have the latest BIOS?

Which slots do you have them installed in? Same color?

                Thank you

Oh, I did install them in the same color. Could that cause any trouble?
And I didn't update my Bios. Didn't know how to..

                  Thanks guys.

They should be in same colored slots, so that's fine. You will need to go to manufacturers website to see if there is an updated BIOS version to improve memory compatibility.

                    Thank you

                          Hey guys.

Problems are back. My computer works fine for other games, but when I started to play Warcraft 3, I still got kicked out.
It kinda happend more often if I use Alt+Tab to get in and out the game. Sometime for two or three times a night.

                          Can you help me?

Might want to raise the CPU/NB slightly, about +.04 and possibly the vCore (CPU voltage) again about +.04 to +.06

                              Thank you
But that doesn't help much. As long as I still use Alt+Tab.
And I have the TurboV program too. Don't know if it could do some help?
