I'm curious to see the stuff you got running lol! Dont suppose our much of a gamer. BTW if G Skill tech responds then perhaps I'll have 12gb of Trident

No, don't do gaming, did however build one strictly for gaming back in mid 2007 that was interesting, it was sort of on a bet. Had some good components from a build that fell through so took a XFX 680i, a pair of XFX 8800 GTSs (the XXX models), a Q6600 (G0 stepping) and 4GB of 1066 and built a gamer. On air had it OCed to a little over 4.1GHz and hit 17,600+ on the 3DMark (06) benchmarks (mainly suicide shots, but could hit 16,800 in it's reg config), which was and I think still is the record for that combo of CPU & SLI GPUs by almost 1,000 pts. (Actually still have that same Q6600, it now runs 24/7 at 3.6 GHz.

My primary system is built on a P45 UD3R, w/ 8GB of 1066 (PIs) running at 1166, Q9650 @ 3.8GHz, A BFG 285 OCX, a pair of Vertex 60GB SSDs in RAID 0, and a couple of SATA II drives, running Win7 Ultimate, Vista Ultimate and XP Pro (all 64 bit versions) with 24" AOC and 28" HannsG screens (also running DirecTV through the computer (eliminates the need for a tv in the office, just throw it up in a window on the big screen or full size).

Keep planning to build myself an i7/1366 but to match what I already have, performance wise, would be looking at big bucks, and the gain wouldn't be worth it.

Ah, must suck having a BFG card knowing you couldn't RMA it... Iv always been Saphire or eVGA for cards. Never had a C2... Went from P4 to athlon mobile to i7 920 D0, a atom dual and a i7 740QM. One day I'm hoping to try a Thuban, considering I'd only need a new board, chip and ram, it wouldn't be bad. I had 2 60gb vertex 2s in hand, buy swapped to a single 120 last second. I love the build quality on them, that's for sure! Can't believe corsair sells a single overpriced SSD when vertex 2s are identicle performance for less. I'm liking the specs on the 256GB C300's though, that and crucials $170 6GB DDR3 2200Mhz kit, but I'd still prefer g skill easily!

Use my 360 for telus optik tv lol! Got netflix on pc tho.

I'd think long and hard about a Thuban, your 920 is about on a par or better than the 1090. A lot of reviews have compared them and give a nod to the 1090, but it's generally at stock and the 1090 doesn't OC like the Intel chips will, and Intel gets gains from the ability to use tri channel DRAM. The good thing is that AMD costs less, but the continue to go cheap on their R&D so the MC is weak. I gave up on AMD a couple years ago, only build them now on specific request and often after arguments from me.

Well G. Skill tech told me to go to newegg, and since I dont want to pay 15% to restock, + shipping... So i'll be selling it.. and perhaps buy more ram later, but the heatspreaders wont fit under my sink with 2 fans.
