It is possible to run 8 GB DDR3 1600 on 790FX?

Do you have the one with various tRFC, i.e. tRFC1, tRFC2, etc - if so try 195 (or so depending on your mobo and the other tRFC settings at 127 (or so, these things vary, i.e. 127, 127.5, other variants). If that works...good. If not try 195ish across the board on the tRFCx settings (x being 1,2,3,etc)

If only the single tRFC then 195ish to start.

Running Good Settings Are: 8 8 8 21 2t 5t 160ns 160ns 160ns 160ns 10t 5t 33t 4t SB/HT set a 1.4v
DDR set to 1.65v All other settings at auto Thats with 8 Gigs of Ram. Ran it through PT Pitstop and computer came in at the Top 5% in speed. Thanks Guys

tRFC about 195ish ( depends on BIOS some do 195, some 195.5, some 197, etc)

This is a Gibabyte AMD board not a Intel. tRFC settings are:90ns 110ns 160ns 300ns 350ns. Its all in the above post...
