Hi,
I'm trying to setup an Asus P5Q Pro Turbo with 2 sets of F2-6400CL6D-8GBMQ, for a total 16GB.
I have the latest BIOS 0602 installed on my board, and I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64, with Intel QX9650 CPU.
The board documentation lists the F2-6400CL6D BMQ series as compatible for 16GB.
At default setting the system doesn't boot with the 4 DIMMs installed, it doesn't even beep - just powers up and idles.
With up to 3 DIMMs installed (12GB) it boots up (I haven't tested stability yet).
I cross checked all DIMMs and they are all working ok individually.
I have no experience with overclocking or setting the voltage - I know where to change the settings in the BIOS, but not more than that.
What are there specific settings that will allow the system to power up and boot with all 4 DIMMs installed?
Thanks for your help.
