      Do the changes you make in the BIOS stay there? i.e. after booting and running and shutting down. Do they still show as the same values next time you boot? or have they gone back to the default 800 speed and timings?

        could you check the memory voltage with DFI Smart Guardian to see if it really changes the setting?

              also after the changes ive made. ive been getting some strange startups.
              sometimes hanging... sometimes it works fine... flip a coin

                    ok 4 sticks is very hard to run at DDR2 1066 becuase the memory controller gets overload. if you want to use 4 sticks, we suggest you lower to DDR2 1000 or 800. or you change try to increase the voltage of memory and mch core voltage.
