    Dear Customer

Ok thank you, I've requested an RMA record by gskill company as per your suggestions.

My only doubt is that very rarely the bios recognises my ssd again and it works. Most often it does not, but at this time I'm not sure where is the problem. Also changing pins doesn't have any effect, it seems that randomly ssd is alive randomly (most often) not. Probably it is defective.

      thanks HT

yes, I've checked on asus websites and it is current.

I've tried with other disks and they work pefectly. I'm quite sure that is defective, but it is strange that sometimes it works...

If you have one available, might try a different sata and/or power cable, generally they don't go bad, but on occasion they do, have run into a few like that that cause the kind of problem you're having.

              nothing to do...
I've tried many combinations of sata and power cables but nothing, and with the same combinations a second disk works.

I'm going to send back SSD to gskill company.

              thanks again

                  Same problem

                  Hi.

I have the same problem. However, my SSD is recognised in the bios as yatapdon when the jumper is attached.

I have a lot of data on the drive that has not been backed up.

Is there a way I can recover the data before reinstalling the firmware and making my drive usable again? I understand you lose all data when installing new firmware? Is there any way around this? Seems like a pretty silly design...

                  Thanks

I don't know, in my case the system could recognize ssd disk just few times. I waited one of this cases and deleted all the partitions, formatted the disk, updated the firmware and reinstalled OS.

At the moment I do not experiencing any more issue. Let us see if the problem is solved or not.
