Firmware Update: Device not detected

Hi all,

I did install Windows 7 with the new firmware update on my Mac Book Pro. It works good without any stuttering. But it becomes unresponsive sometimes when I open My Computer. I have to kill it to resolve the issue. This happens when I simultaneously open more windows.

Hi,

I had this problem on a nforce chipset on my 790i. The issue is caused by the nvidia drivers for SATA. It seems to make it think it is part of a raid setup. I updated on my other PC and it was fine, so either try another pc or uninstall the nvidia drivers and let the system use the microsoft ones instead.
