  • Gskill Falcon SSD will not upgrade FW

I have tried every version of firmware upgrade and all methods posted on here with no luck. My drive is a Falcon I 64GB drive purchased about 10 months ago. I have also recently been getting BSOD's and when i reboot it does not recognize the HD until I turn off the computer and unplug it and plug it back in. How can I get this drive fixed and have the new version of FW installed onto it?

Download Falcon FW 1916 tool and Falcon FW 2030
You need other computer or that to finish steps 1~3. And steps 6~7 need a usb boot disk.

      1. Power off computer and plug supplied pin jumper onto your SSD then boot your computer.
      2. Use 1916 FW tool clean function erase ssd.
      3. Install FW 1916.
      4. Power off computer and remove jumper from ssd.
      5. BIOS set storage to "IDE" mode.
      6. Use usb boot disk boot-up computer.
      7. Upgrade FW to 2030.
