    MACs are known to have trouble adapting to anything. I think it was the way it was partitioned.

    Either way now that it's not FAT/NTFS you won't be able to update the firmware.
    Also MAC doesn't support trim hence your SSD will run slower and slower.

    IMHO it's useless to waste advanced technology on an outdated OS.
    It used to take 40 seconds to boot, now it takes 13. It used to take 15 seconds to shut down, now it takes 3. It used to take 15 seconds to open FireFox now it takes 1. Doesn't sound useless to me. I'm not looking to set benchmarks, if it gets a little slower over time, so be it. It's just a HTPC.
