Thanks for the interest. No, it was never resolved.

I would expect AMD's latest generation to have similar issues with 128GB of high-performance RAM, but with better stability thresholds.

As this thread and others you can find online shows, G.Skill's XMP profile can not at all be expected to work out of the box in this situation. You should only take the JEDEC profile for granted.

BTW, if you try out something like this on a 5950x, please share your results.
