G.SKill Ripjaws X on GA-X79-UP4. Will work?

I have recently bought a F3-12800CL10Q-32GBXL kit... I thought the the X series was for intel X79... but now I now the right one are the Z series...
Can I configure the XMP direct in MB?
Any tips to configure them on a Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4?

Make sure you have the latest BIOS, then enable XMP, and give it a shot - if any problems may have to raise VCCSA a bit, I'd start about 1.15 if needed
