  • Need low height 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 for Ivy Bridge Z77 HTPC

Any advice on which lower height 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 memory set would work best for my Ivy Bridge Z77 HTPC build. I'm buying parts for a small Mini ITX case Ivy Bridge CPU based HTPC media center. The PC will be used for as occasional home/work PC with little or no gaming and no overclocking. I'm going for cool and quite.

I want a shorter height and cooler running/reliable memory chip set that allows for using a better CPU fan in a slim height ITX sized case. While I have satisfactorily used Ripjaws is recent builds, their RAM heatsink maybe a clearance height problem. In researching memory, I could find no data about chip height.

    CPU/MB combo planned for:
CPU Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) (will use on board iGPU video)
MB ASRock Z77E-ITX LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

So what would you recommend from the following or are there others I should consider?
Sniper Low Voltage Series Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2 CL 9-9-9-24-2N 1.25 Volts

    SNIPER F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR1 (4GB x 2) CL 9-9-9-24-2N 1.35 Volts

    ARES F3-1600C9D-8GAO

ARES F3-1600C8D-8GAB (CL 8-8-8-2N 1.5 Volts XMP Ready for 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors and Z77 platform)

    Thanks

The Ares line is about 1.3 inches compared to the Ripjaws 1.58 height, so it has a lower profile

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
