ASRock 970 Extreme 3 / AMD FX-6100 / Ripjaws 1866 16GB

I am relatively new when it comes to manually entering in the memory information within the BIOS.

Below is the PC I am currently building (still waiting on the video card) and I want to be proactive when it comes to the memory settings. From the bit of searching I've seen, this MOBO/RAM combination is tricky to get to 1866.

What settings would you all recommend for this combination? I want to get the most out of the memory, but without putting severe strain on any of the components. There is no need for me to go crazy with the overclocking. I will probably keep the CPU at the stock speed for now.

If your motherboard has DOCP, try it under that.

If no joy w/ DOCP may want to drop to 1600, many have had problems trying to run 4x4GB 16GB of 1866 with the 6100
