It is obligatory to use the fan to be stable at 2400 9-11-9 and 1.65v?
On the site is indicated

G.Skill guarantees 2 Dimms dual channel operation with attached fan would reach announced specification.

You'd have to see how the sticks run, temp wise, the fan would help cool, but I seldom ever use them, i.e. I'm running 4x8GB RJ Z 2133/CL9 at 2400/CL10 and not anywhere needing a fan. If your rig is well ventilated, doubt if you would need it
