I know is an original request but how I can downclock the ram?

The Xeon E5530 is not overclockable and I would like to achieve maximum speed (responsiveness) out of the RAM but I have to lower the clock to 1066

In the info I got from CPUz and others there are just few parameters for the 533 speed.
But my MB has a billion settings.

Anyone can help?

XMP and the other estension as well as Auto do not work correctly and lead to d3 and d4 errors when waking up from sleep.

In the BIOS set the DRAM freq to 1066, Command Rate to 2T, and the base timings to 5-5-5-17 - if that's too tight (shouldn't be) try 6-6-6-18. May be able to drop DRAM voltage to 1.8 or so
