Evga x79 sli

Hey guys..haven't been in here for a while b/c I haven't had any problems b/c I love my memory and it rocks. But I do have a question.
I just purchased the X79 EVGA mobo and am building my system. My questions are this
1) I know its a long shot but until I get more $$ can I use the memory in my signature? Its 6 sticks of 2gb.
2) The memory configuration tool on this site did not have the x79 mobo as an option...do you have a recommendation for a good memory?

Should be able to work, will need to manually set timings, which isn't a big deal, check the manual for the suggested slots to use
