Asus P8Z77 compatible ?

I'm just in the process of buying my components for a new build.

Will these two work together:

Looking at the spec I thought they would but they mobo doesn't appear in the compatability list for the RAM.

They haven't gotten to all the Z77 mobos, but the Ripjaws X were designed with the 1155 socket mobos in mind
