I am putting together a build with the following configuration:

Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V-Pro
CPU: Intel i7-3770

It will not OC.

My local PC shop supplies the following G.Skill RAM:

Ripjaws-X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (2x4 GB) which is not in the QVL.

When using two sets of those (=4x4 GB), is there a difference to the set
F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL(XMP), which is listed in QVL ?

Which PC1600 - 16GB set do you recommend for a reliable stable system?

Any time you mix sets it can be problematic, in 4x4GB sets, I'd suggest Ripjaws X either F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL or F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXM. Another good set for your combos would be the Snipers F3-12800CL9Q-16GBSR
