On a friend's rig ASUS Z77 Sabertooth with latest UEFI/BIOS using G.SKILL Trident X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) Model F3-2400C10Q-16GTX there are 2 XMP profiles.
Profile #1 at 2401mhz 10-12-12-31 Voltage1.65V and
Profile # 2 at 2399mhz same timings.
Using XMP profile #1 the system under Win7 X64 has frozen a couple of times, forcing a reset. Otherwise it boots just fine. Ran the memory tester native to Win7 and it pased passe one but failed almost at the end of pass 2. Is there is some other setting in the UEFI that might need to be tweaked to avoid the infrequent freezes? Since it would appear that the freezes might be due to the memory and not the OS driive which is a single SSD SATA-3 firmware up to date...
Any ideas?
Thanks
