Your QVL for this RAM covers P67s, Z68s, and older chipsets but apparently has not been updated for Z77s. Will this RAM work in:

-BIOSTAR TZ77XE3
-GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H
-GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H
-ASRock Z77 Extreme4

CPU: Ivybridge 3450 or 3550.
OS: Win 7/64.

The Ares line is one of the newest ones and is fully compatible with the Z77 mobos, they are Socket 1155 and the CPUs mentioned are 3rd Gen, in the sets, descriptor

"Compatible with Intel LGA1155/LGA1156 and AMD AM3/Llano/AM3+ platforms
Intel XMP support for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors"

so you'd be good to go....Might check on the mobos before purchase and make sure they are up to date and ready to go with 8GB sticks, seen problems with many of them, though I can vouch for the ASRock eXtreme 4, been working with them since I had problems with a 32GB 2133/9 set that the BIOS wasn't even close to ready for, a few updates and it's good to go.
