  • Foxcon A9DA AM3 & F3-12800CL9Q-16GBRL

I just installed the F3-12800CL9Q-16GBRL ram in my Foxcon A9DA motherboard and it detects it correctly but when trying to boot into Windows 7 it quickly BSOD's and reboots. I got the message to stay on the screen and it states my BIOS is not fully ACPI compatible.

Not sure of the correct configuration that is needed for this ram and would like some assistance in making sure I get the settings right.

    Thanks,
    Paul Campbell

Try reinstalling Windows to see if that helps.

Make sure to set DRAM frequency, timings, and voltage.

    CPU-NB Frequency should be 2400MHz

    CPU-NB Voltage should be ~1.20V

Also, make sure you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard.

    Thank you

Did the BIOS update and that worked. There was actually an update that addressed BSOD's when installing 16 gigs of RAM.
