Hello G.Skill Tech,

I'm piecing together components for my new build w/ a MSI Z77A-GD65 motherboard, and I was wondering if you could recommend some 16gb kits for reliability and decent overclockability?

I chose your recommendation for my previous i5-760 build which worked out great!

This time around, it'll be the above stated motherboard w/ either an i5 2500k or i7 2600k... both of which I'll be overclocking.

Please let me know of your recommendations. My budget will be $105 to $160 approximately.

If looking for 4x4GB, at the high end ($150) I'd suggest the 2133 Snipers (F3-17000CL9Q-16GBSR), stepping down to 1866 @ $110 the Ares F3-1866C9Q-16GAB or Ripjaws Z F3-14900CL9Q-16GBZL, then at 1600 @ $95 Snipers F3-12800CL9Q-16GBSR. Pretty much all of the 16 GB sets will work fine with your rig, most anything over 2133 though you'd probably want to look at the 3570K or the 3770K with a Z77 as they handle the higher freq DRAM much better
