  • Help: M4A89GTD Pro/USB3 mb and FX-6100 cpu

What memory is compatible with the M4A89GTD Pro/USB3 mb and a FX-6100 cpu as I returning the F3-10666CL7D-8GBXH kits back to Newegg due to incompatibility with my system?
Looking for a total of 4-4 g sticks.

    Thanks
    Terry

Any particular freq/speed, price range, etc.....I see you have a 1333 set, should be able to get them to go....do you have the latest BIOS? Can also run Memtest on each stick individually to make sure both test OK. If so, manually input (can't trust AUTO) the base timings 8-8-8-21, 2N and start with DRAM Voltage at 1.5...see what happens as this is where it may need an adjustment or 2. The problem you may run into is the MC (memory controller) on the AMD CPUs, the MC oft times has problems with high end sticks, by that I mean low latency (which these are) as well as high frequency (speed) sets. So you can first try raising DRAM voltage to 1.55 and/or raise the CPU/NB voltage + .04 , if either setup is stable can try lowering voltage at .01 at a shot while maintaining stability. Another option would be to try them at 8-7-7-22, 2N, 1.5, 1333 or even 1600 at 9-9-924 (speed boost)

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
