  • GA-870A-UD3 and F3-10666CL7D-8GBECO

    Hi,
My motherboard is GA-870A-UD3 rev 3.0 and CPU is Phenom II X4 955 BE.

Is F3-10666CL7D-8GBECO compatible with this Motherboard?
If I use four sticks, what memory voltage should I set to get a stable system?

    Thanks!

This is a two stick set, so with 4 sticks you're talking two sets, which I don't really recommend, there's no guarantee the sets will place nice. That being said, I'd suggest a single 4 stick set, but if you want to try, with your mobo and CPU (and the latest BIOS, I think they'll prob play together OK but will prob have to add a little voltage to the DRAM (say up to 1.4) and will have to raise the CPU/NB for the simple fact that you'll have 4 sticks

      this works on my motherboard?
but if I buy 4 sticks, to need to raise the voltage?

This set should work, may have to raise the CPU/NB a bit but should be fine

okay, so I'll try this sticks..
how to set CPU/NB? I looked in the manual of my motherboard but do not think.

May be called CPU NB VID or something like that

How much do I have to increase voltage,
To be able to leave the memory running stable? That's what I do not know!
              CPU NB VID.

Try starting with + .1 then if thats good can decrease it while maintaining stability , maybe .01 at a time, or if not stable add + .05 to DRAM voltage and let me know what happens
