  • f3-12800cl9d-4gbnq problems?

    I gave up on this awhile ago after following the directions in the config sticky thread but basically computer wont even boot if i run dual channel but works with sticks in 1/3 or 2/4
    and now i just installed amd overdrive to see what it has the settings as in there and it says something like
    dram frequence 400.mhz
    fsb:dram 1:2
    CL 6
    trcd 6
    trp 6
    tras 15
    trc 20
    cr 1T

    maybe i have a bad mobo i dunno

    Motherboard, CPU, BIOS revision? If Intel use XMP, if AMD you have to set up manually or accept what is prob 1066 or 1333 defaults

      bios says
      version 2105

      i tried to follow the thread for the AMD set up and it still made my computer mess up before with dual channel, now i can't even get it to start if i try to run in dual channel

        You've got the latest BIOS which is good, what CPU are you running, generally for 1600 sticks you'll want a 965 or better. If your CPU can't carry 1600 might set to 1333 and at 8-8-8-24, 2N, 1.5
