    Hi,

i (maybe) want to replace my F3-12800CL10Q-32GBXL Kit with the F3-2133C9Q-32GXH

Did i have a chance to run this kit with the Intel DZ68BC?

    I already own a 16GB kit @DDR3-1866 F3-14900CL9Q-16GBXL,
but this kit won't work with this mobo (with a 2500K cpu)

    Now i own a 2700K cpu,
    the question is ( F3-2133C9Q-32GXH)

you write the memory needs 1,6V - but this can damage my CPU !?

    When the kit doesn't work @DDR3-2133 CL9,
can i run the memory for example @DDR1600-CL7 with lower voltage?

I think the 32GB kit i already own and the CL9 Kit "F3-1600C9Q-32GXM"
are the most compatible memory kits for the most board.

    Can i run the F3-1600C9Q-32GXM for example @ DDR3-1866 CL10?

    is it maybe possible?

Thank you very much for your help.

Intel mobos are very picky about DRAM and unlike most, lay to claim at all to faster DRAM capabilities, nor do they (generally OC that well). Think they have this mobo only rated to 1600, so while the capability to run 1866/2133 is there as far as the chipset and components, how well you would do might depend on the BIOS. Most any set will downclock effective to 1600 generally based on at least a drop of 2 from the base CL, i.e. a CL9 set should be happy at 1600/CL7

And whats with the 1,6V thing?

      Intel says 1,575V or something,
can i damage my 2700K cpu with this memory?

If you drop the sticks to 1600, should run fine at 1.5 (maybe a bit less) the 1.6 is to sustain the higher higher freq

          Intel says:

XMP version 1.2 performance profile support for memory speeds above 1600 MHz

Did the memory have a XMP 1.2 Profile ?

          Thx!

Yes, but for DDR3-2133 and high frequency, it is best to use other motherboard like ASUS that is on our QVL. Intel says DDR3-2133 is OK for their motherboard, but when you call them, they say Intel CPU can only handle DDR3-1333/1600. That is a problem.

Yes i know the problem, Intel refer only to the CPU specs.
              (they choose the easy way)

Did you have experience which Chipset (P67 vs. Z68),
can handle better with OC Memory?

              I own a Intel DP67BG and the Intel DZ68BC
i would say the DP67BG can better handle with OC memory.

              I have a G.Skill 16GB DDR-1866 Kit,
this will work perfect with the DP67BG,
but it will never run with the DZ68BC.

(and i did not find any information that someone in the universe use the DZ68 with memory over DDR3-1600)

              Is this a chipset behavior?

              Or only a mobo thing?

Don't know about the Intel mobos (work with very few), basically every P67 and Z68 I've built or worked with, adding your CPU have had no problems at all w/ 16GB of 2133. The base of the chipset itself is the same, the Z68 expands on the P67 with support for some additional features like using SSD as cache, CPU on-board GPU, etc

Z68 chipset should be better, so I think it is just mobo compatibility (possibly BIOS).

                        I bought the 32GB DDR3-1600 CL9 Kit F3-1600C9Q-32GXM

went to bios loading xmp profile 1,
                        and it works.

I better choose the save way, i think DDR3-2133 will never work on the Intel DZ68BC.

I tried to OC and use DDR3-1866 with CL11 but it don't work (maybe 1866Mhz won't work on the intel too).

                        So i can say:

save your nerves and buy only DDR3-1600 for the DZ68BC.

Running this Kit stable with a voltage of 1,4V

I own a F3-12800CL10Q-32GBXL Kit too and this Kit will run only @ 1,35V stable.

                            Hi!

                            One question:

                            This memory have two profiles,
but which has the XMP 1.2 pofile and which the XMP 1.3 profile?

                            Loading in bios:

                            A) PROFILE 1 = xmp 1.2 ?
                            PROFILE 2 = xmp 1.3 ?

                            B) PROFILE 1 = xmp 1.3 ?
                            PROFILE 2 = xmp 1.2 ?

It look like a i can load both profiles but i can't see any difference.

BTW: the memory runs peferct stable but i wan't only sure that the 100% correct profile is choosed.

With the X series they have been adding XMP 1.3 in Profile 2, both are generally the same at 1600
