Hi all, Ive been having these problems for the longest time. I havent really posted this here since ive been trying to find solutions for myself. But so far I've had no luck.
Im using these Flares (F3-14400CL7D-4GBFLS), and I have no problems running them on their rated speeds and timings, at 1800 7-8-7-24 2T. I can SuperPi 32M and Prime95 (on blend for a few hours) without any errors. However, the problems appear when I go beyond the stock speeds. Running the same timings on 1T in particular can have me pass SuperPi 32M but gives me either a ROUNDING ERROR or a BSOD that says "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT" on Prime95 within 20mins. I tried upping the DRAM Volts to as high as 1.70 (stock is at 1.65) and the CPU/NB volts as high as 1.45v, but still I get the same errors with no clue if im doing it right because the errors happen within the same timeframe. Within minutes only. I also tried tightening my timings to 6-8-6-24 on 2T, but I still get the same errors.
So my questions are the following:
1) Am I doing anything wrong? Im certain that tightening my timings on 1T is possible because I've seen it done with the same setup. Im just not so sure if I have bad sticks or not.
2) What are the steps I should follow when tightening my timings? I might have just overlooked a minor detail or two. Im not so sure if Im doing all this right, because as far as I know there is no definitive guide for setting up timings on an AMD platflorm, or ive just had no luck looking for them if ever there is one.
Hope to hear from you guys soon.
Cheers and thanks!
BTW my PC's specs are the following:
AMD 1090T
ASUS Crosshair IV Formula (BIOS 2002)
Gskill Flare 1800 CL7 F3-14400CL7D-4GBFLS
If there's any more info you'd need to answer my questions/s let me know!
