I've posted this same question on the ASUS forums but was hoping to get a solution here. I have 2 sets of the F3-17000CL11Q-16GBZL RAM for 32 GB. I am currently running them at 1600MHz, but my display driver keeps crashing. It would crash when booting up or even loading web pages (Windows will restore it after a few seconds, but will continue to crash). After I remove 4 of the dimms, then everything runs fine. The system does recognize all 8 dimms correctly. The motherboard (P9X79) manual states that it supports 8 dimms of a similar module (F3-17000CL9Q-16GBXLD).
I'm trying to figure out why the 8 dimms would cause the display to keep crashing and how to remedy it. I have the voltages set at 1.65 as well as tried increased the VCCSA voltage and setting the load line calibration at high and compatibility at 120%.
