  • Help with timings

    Hello , i bought two F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL , my mother board is a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3.
The Mhz looks ok (1600Mhz without touch the bios) , but the latency is not running at 9-9-9-24.
Here are screenshots of cpu-z and photos of bios :

Please tell me how to change them to 9-9-9-24.
By the way this PC is for games and i'll like to know if the change will improve performance.

It may give slight performance boost or solve some stuttering in games.

You simply set 4 settings just under the Command Timing. So it should look like this:

    24 (try 25 if it's not stable)

Then you boot into windows, if there are problems, you should your ram with Memtest from (you can either make a bootlable CD with those ISO or a USB stick with the USB KEY auto-installer. then simply boot with CD or USB and it'll automatically run the test )
    This cat scratches free.

ok , settings changed to 9-9-9-25 very stable , didn't try 24 just in case.

I've been told about change the Row cycle time to 40t , is that correct ?

I'd check for stability, if no issues stay where you are, can always experiment with the timings to increase performance

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
