F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL with an ASUS Crosshair Formula

Hello All

This is my first post as a newb so please go easy on me lol. As the title states Would the ripjaws F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL work with an ASUS Crosshair Formula. I would like to put a bulldozer 8 core in it with 32g of ram for use with hyper v. Would this setup function? Any help would be appreciated.

If it's the Crosshair V Formula, they'll work, you'll want the latest BIOS...and if you're thinking 32 GB I'd look for a single set that's tested to all work together rather than mixing sets......Might also want to confirm the BullDozer you're looking at can handle 32GB

the board that I was looking at was a crosshair iv formula. Does this make a difference?

Believe the Crosshair IV Formula only takes up to 16 GB in 4x4GB format), you are looking at a 2x8GB set......
here we go, just pulled up the spec sheet, it is 4x4GB
