I have a new P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 (0301 BIOS), i5-2500K, and RipJaws F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM. I can easily configure the CMOS to correctly see the memory using manual or XMP profiles (X.M.P. DDR3-2133 9-11-10-28-2N-1.65V).
When I boot, at the POST I see the memory as DDR3-2133 (as expected). When I am in the operating system and launch CPUID CPU-Z V1.59, the "memory tab" shows up as 1066.9 MHz. All other configs show up correctly= 9-11-10-28, except the command which is 2T
The SPD tab (slot#2, #4) shows the memeory as PC3-12800 (800MHz), so the question is does CPU-Z incorrectly identify these sticks? and are they truly running at this speed
Thanks in advance
