  • Ram seen by computer as incorrect mhz...

I have 12 gigs of G.Skill Memory. Here is complete model numbers
    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
    G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ

I bought the 4 2 x 2GB sticks a couple years back and then 2 weeks ago decided I wanted more ram. I bought the 2 x 4GM Ripjaw and noticed that the timings, voltage, and other specs were identical to the ram I currently had. So I put the new ram in my first two slots and the older ram in the last two. Set up timings 9-9-9-24-2T 1600mhz and everything runs fine. Well now that I am trying to get my cpu up to 3.4ghz from 3.0 I get blue screens and just noticed the cpuz readings for my memory and I think their is a problem I pasted the cpuz Ram read out below:
If you notice the first two sticks it sees correct PC3-12800 1600mhz (800mhz) and the second two it says are PC3-10700 (667mhz?) Another odd thing is for the two sticks its calling pc3-10700 if you look at the last couple lines for the sticks in dimm 3 and 4 it says 800mhz with correct timings? So what is wrong, or what should I adjust btw my other quick specs:
    AMD PHenom II X4 945 95w (3.0ghz OC"D 3.2GHZ)
    MOBO: Asus M4A78T-E

The readings are from the SPD on the sticks which has multiple reading available, to see what your sticks are actually running at, download CPU-Z, install it, run it, and look under the memory tab, that will tell you what all four sticks are running at, the biggest difference you are seeing are the PC3 10700 and 12800 which are a part of the SPD as a default boot value (should also be able to see that in CPU-Z under the SPD tab)....biggie is the memory tab reading which should be +/- 800 freq (keep in mind its DDR (Double Data Rate) so for true speed it's the freq shown, 800 x 2 would = 1600 sticks speed/freq
