I currently have the following system:
Core i7 920 D0 @ 4.0GHz, 1.25v (200 x 20)
Corsair H50 CPU Cooler
Corsair Dominator GT 6GB 7-7-7-20 @ 1603MHz, 1.65v
eVGA GeForce GTX580 3GB @ 890-1780-2140, 1.088v
Creative x-Fi Titanium PCI-e x1
Intel 320 Series 120GB SSD Boot Drive
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA For Storage
LG SuperMultiBlue Disk Drive
ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 Motherboard
Corsair HX850 850w PSU
Coolermaster Storm Scout Case
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
I want to upgrade my RAM to the Sniper F3-12800CL9T-12GBSR2 RAM kit as listed in the title. The main reasoning is I want a 12GB triple channel kit and noticed this kit needs very low voltage(only 1.25v). Is this kit compatible with my system? Is there anyhting I need to keep in mind before making this purchase? Also, any odds this can improve/hurt my i7 overclockability?
