  • Help making sure my ram is running at ddr3-1600

    I recently bought
    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

After having to update my bios i have everything up and running and i want to make sure i have it running at ddr3-1600 i currently have it timed at 9-9-9-24

When i run cpu-z here is what i get

    Dram frequency: 800 mhz
    FSB : DRam : 3:10

    cl : 9
    trcd : 9
    trp : 9
    tras : 24
    trc : 33
    cr : 1t

My only question is is that dram frequency stating 800mhz really ddr3-1600 or am i mistaken?

Mobo is ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

    CPU is AMD Phenom II X4 945 Deneb 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor HDX945WFGIBOX

    Thanks for any help

You got it, the 800 if the frequency, but this is DDR (Double Data Rate, so it's 800 x 2 = 1600. Looks good and tight, if any instability drop the CR to 2T
