F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR + Asus M5A97 PRO

Hi guys has anyone tried to instal the snippers F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR with Asus M5A97 PRO? Thanks in advance for the replies, and sorry for my bad english it's a bit rusty.

No problems with the motherboard and the DRAM together, be sure your CPU can run 1600 DRAM

I have an AMD FX Series FX-6100 Black Edition - 3,3 GHz - Socket AM3+ but the system doesn't boot, no beeps, no VGA infortunatly :S , checked every other component and it seems the memorys are probaly incompatible with the CPU do you have any ideia or an extra test i could do to sort out if there is any other problem?

Easiest would be to try another set of DRAM, if same results prob not the DRAM....might also want to check the mobo BIOS, it may have an old BIOS that doesn't work with the FX CPU
