  • [ RipjawsX ] F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL

    Hallo
    I have 2 DDR3-2133 PC317000 4096MB CL11-11-11-30 1,5V

My board is a ASUS P8Z68-V Pro

    Now the Problem:
    The computer did not boot.
There is a lamp an the motherboard witch lights red continuously. Near by is the MemOK! switch. When i push this switch the system searches for better settings. But it still dont work. The Monitor is still black (standby). I have another DDR3 from CnMemory and it works fine. What can i do that the two F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL work? The bios is updated.

What CPU? Did you try enabling XMP and selecting the 2133 profile?

Test one stick at a time to see if one may be bad causing problems. If both have the same problem, the motherboard may be defective.

      Thank you

Yes i tryed all four slots with both and single.
My CPU is an intel 2500k.
I dident come in the bios with the ripjaws. But with the CnMemory. Can i do settings im bios, then safe and quit. Then turn off the computer, replace the CnMemory with the ripjaws, and reboot?

Ought to be able to put the sticks in the proper slots and boot straight into BIOS, the mobo should default the sticks to either 1333 or 1600, from there you can enable XMP and select the profile

The xmp in my motherboard is called "Ai Overclock Tuner" and it is on Auto (it is default setting). X.M.P. is not available because now it is the CnMemory in the system. When i put in the ripjaws i dont come to the bios. It dont start.

On the MoBo are two switches first TPU (Turning this switch to enable will automatocally optimize the system for fast, yet stable clock speeds)

The second ist EPU (Turnunig this switch to enable will automatically detect the current PC loadings and intelligently moderate the power consumption.)

both are disable(default). Shoult i enable or not?

XMP stands for eXtreme Memory Performance, and is settings on the DRAM sticks themselves, in the Ai Overclock Tuner section of your BIOS, should be something about Memory Freq, speed, settings or something (don't have a layout or manual handy) which is prob set to Auto, click on the Auto to see if it shows XMP, then select it, that should profide an option to select a profile, select the 2133 profile
