  • F3-10666CL9-4GBRL OC well?

Hi, I just built this rig a few weeks ago so I'm still a little green with it. Now I wish I had got the 1600 ram Has anyone had much luck overclocking the F3-10666CL9-4GBRL/1333 ram?

Highest I got so far was 1412

What is the max voltage this ram can take?

And to achieve higher clocks, what timings might I try?

    Thanks

If with stock timings 1412 is pretty good, you could loosen the timings and try higher but then you's lose performance, can safely take these to 1.6 (perhaps a tad higher) and keep in mind you'll also be wanting to adjust the CPU/NB up a little also (it feelds juice to the MC (memory controller)

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

Thank you Tman for your input.

To loosen the timings, how should I set them up?

And is it a good idea to try stock speed with tighter timings? If so, then what timing might I try for this?

If you loosen the timing to CL10 to move higher they will actually be performing slower than they are now, which is why I mentioned slower performance

Ok Tman, I have a lot of tinkering to do. I noticed when I went higher, they booted in single channel. I think I will try tighter timing with 1333 and see what happens also.

Oh, and when I try cas 10 should any other timings be changed? Or just the cas.

          Thanks

I'd start with the CAS, then if still problems loosen to 10-10-10-30

I have not done extensive stability testing yet. But I did a couple of basic stability and performance tests.

Which settings do you think would be more effective overall? Notice only the copy is better while in "duel-channel".

              1466 Mz "Duel-Channel"

              1600 Mz "Single-Channel"
