    I'm running two sets of this memory (total of 4x 2Gb) in a Gigabyte GA-890gpa ud3, rev. 2.0 mobo with a 1090t (@ 3.8Ghz...for now).

The memory is listed as 7-8-7-24-2n. Using the sticky instructions in this forum, I've manually set the BIOS to 8-8-8-24, 2t. I've upped the BIOS to 1600 mhz and the voltage to 1.6. The NB freq is now 2400.

    All is good...

What about all the other memory timings? The default/auto settings were all much looser than what the memory is rated at. Bank cycle, tRC, shows 40. It seems it could be lower. Would I gain any measure of performance increase? What about all the rest?

    TwTr Command Delay
    Trfc0 For dimm1
    Trfc2 for dimm2
    Trfc1 for dimm3
    trfc3 for dimm4
    Write recovery time
    Prcharge time
    row cycle time
    ras to ras delay

Is it worth changing these? If so, how do I find the ratings?

    Thanks,
    Ken

    They should be just fine.

They should look something like this:

    TwTr Command Delay 7
    Trfc0 For dimm1 160ns
    Trfc2 for dimm2 160ns
    Trfc1 for dimm3 160ns
    trfc3 for dimm4 160ns
    Write recovery time 12
    Prcharge time 7
    row cycle time 40
    ras to ras delay 6

If they are lower and stable, you can just leave it.

    Thank you
