I'll see if I can dig out any notes on the mobo, I worked with a couple of them back in mid/late 2010, but don't remember having another one on the bench since them. I'll see what I can find

Wow, 1.255+ causes mobo to turn off.
1.21 BSOD 7E. :/ A note, mobo allows for modifying vdds, as range-tuning btw. Odd v-controls noted.

What symptoms (besides total stability) might hint at getting closer to needed voltage you think? Hm. I practically tried from 1.174 - 1.255, nada.

Did you try some different timings?

What are all the timings set at?

          tWR?

          Thank you

There should be other advanced timings.. Those can cause problems if incorrect.

              Thank you

There are other timings but they're left at Auto. If the voltage is below 1.2 it doesn't even show OS logo. Else it BSODs.

Have you run memtest on each stick individually, know it can be a pain, but at least 4-5 passes. I found some notes and had the near identical setup with 1.22

Nope. Might should. Might need to try just 2 sticks too.

It's got me wondering about a bad stick, didn't have all these problems with that mobo, let us know what you find

2 passes, full range and all tests, no errors so far. BIOS defaults btw. I hope I'm not changing any BIOS settings assured that they aren't in the way. Soon I'll post images of all menus and settings just in case. Hm, soon after it rounds 3 or 4 times or first morning.

5 Full Range All Tests Passes. No Errors. Thinking either CPU or a BIOS setting I'm changing without realizing it or they may be affecting overclock. Trying to figure out SkyDrive, confusing junk.

PC Wizard gave me power-states of (relevance to the CPU V-Core):

                                18.5x (Turbo-Core)
                                16.5x (3.4Ghz)

                                >> P-States
                                P-State #1 : 18.5x - 1.475 V
                                P-State #2 : 16.5x - 1.325 V
                                P-State #3 : 12.5x - 1.300 V
                                P-State #4 : 08.5x - 1.275 V
                                P-State #5 : 04.0x - 1.225 V
