  • RipJaws 2*(2GB 17000 CL9 (2133)) + AMD 1055T

    Hello,

well i`ll write my 1st my specs:

    AMD PhenomII x6 1055t OC 3.5Ghz
    MB MSI 890fxa-gd70
    PS 500w Cooler Master
    Nividia GeForce 9600gt 512mb 256bit

Now i can`t run the dram speed on its rated speed i don`t know why
when my CPU was on stock freq. 2.8ghz the dram freq. was 1333mhz, after OC my CPU to 3.5GHz dram up to 1664mhz
how i can run my dram freq. on 2133mhz, or i have to OC Clock my CPU more than 3.5Ghz
and i want to now how i can set my ram timings from the bios
    any Help
Thnx and sry for my bad english

The CPU/NB freq will have to be OCed to 3200 to run 2133 sticks.
(The formula to determine the CPU-NB freq you need to run 2133 sticks is:
    2133 / 2 = 1066 x 3 = 3198 (rounded to 3200 for the CPU/NB freq))

From there you'll have to manually adjust CPU, DRAM and CPU/NB voltages upward - can't give you an exact number as I've only seen a few AMD CPUs that ran 2133

So i have to OC my CPU More than 3.5Ghz to reach the ram high speed.

      another qustion,
my pc is crashing with blue screen alot thats when i OC CPU to 3.5Ghz
is that from ram freq. 1667mhz with amd CPUs
and if, should i set dram freq. from the bios as manual like timings and dram volt to get stability with 1667mhz ram speed.(by the way i don`t know how to set ram timings manually)

Yes the bus speed need to be equal or greater than the DRAM speed, if running the sticks at 1600 or 1557 you'll prob want the base timings at around 7-7-7-21 or so and they will need to be set manually (unless your board supports XMP (which I'm not sure about, could check your manual) in which case you can enable XMP and set the profile to which you want to try.

but i`m running on 1667mhz as dram freq. what timings i have to set and i have to set timings as linked or unlinked ? and what volt i have to write (Dram volt) or i can make it as auto ?

          THnx

            At 1667 I'd try 7-7-7-21 2N 1.5 and CPU/MB about 1.2

Make sure CPU-NB Frequency is around 2500MHz

Always try to manually input settings if you know what they are for sure.

              Thank you
