  • Best choose G. Skill RAM

    Hello.
I'm choosing all the components to build a great PC.
Motherboard Asus Maximus Extreme IV Z combined with Intel i7 overclocked to 4.8/5.0 GHz 2600K
I have some doubts in the selection of memories, wanting to use all 4 DIMMs are available, for a total of 16 GB.
The G. Skill memory RipjawsX candidates are as follows:

    F3-12800CL7Q-16GBXH 7-8-7-24-2N DDR3-1600 1,60 volts > OC up 1800MHz

    F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL 9-9-9-24-2N DDR3-1600 1,50 volts > OC up 2000MHz

    F3-14900CL9Q-16GBXL 9-10-9-28-2N DDR3-1866 1,50 volts > OC up 2000MHz

    F3-17000CL9Q-16GBXLD 9-11-9-28-2N DDR3-2133 1,65 volts > NO OC

    F3-17000CL11Q-16GBXL 11-11-11-30-2N DDR3-2133 1.60 Volts > NO OC

What are the most suitable, efficient, stable and safe working with the card and the processor mentioned?
I would have chosen these: F3-17000CL11Q-16GBXL
I would like to confirm or indication of a model, among those mentioned, the most suitable.
The computer will have 2 video cards and 3 monitors and will be used for video editing, conversions, and advanced games.
I ask kindly, if possible, a quick response to proceed with the purchase.

    Thank you for your help.

The F3-17000CL9Q-16GBXLD will be the most powerful, and therefore the most flexible since the have the lower CAS of CL9 of the 2133 sets you mention. Of those listed I would go with one of the 2133 sets rather than plan on OverClocking a lower rated set.

        Thanks for the quick response.
Here in Italy the kit F3-17000CL9Q-16GBXLD is not, nor elsewhere.
Kits are available-F3-17000CL9D 8GBXLD that I bought 2 kits are the same thing, only that eventually cost a little more.
These modules operate with the voltage to 1.65 volts, and this may create some problems?
With I7 2600K who prefers a voltage of 1.5 volts will need undervoltage manually, or in the bios to put everything on auto?

        Thanks again for the help.

          Sorry again.
          And if I take these ? : DDR3 G. Skill F3-Sniper-14900CL9D 8GBSR 1866MHz 8GB (2x4GB) CL9.
It's true that instead of 17000 are 14900 and have the same latency, but have the advantage of operating at 1.5 volts already without any problems and I believe that as services are not very different from F3 17000CL9Q 16GBXLD
          or F3-17000CL9D-8GBXLD x 2.
If I can put 4 with 2 modules buying two kits? The price is more affordable and is can be found here in Italy.
          Again thanks.

The Snipers would be a good choice, yes, I'm currently running 16GB in my P67.

1.65V will be fine, but we still can not be certain whether two kits can work together in the same computer.

The DDR3-1866 kit is very good, we have tested them at 9-11-10-28 1.65V.

              Thank you
