Hello, I have had a ongoing problem when I run my gskill F3-12800CLD-8GBXL at its specified speed of 1600 the PC crashes causing the screen to either blue screen or just freeze whenever I'm running a game. If the ram is running at a speed of 1333 there is no issue and the pc runs fine.

Can I find out the settings required to run this ram at its designed speed on this motherboard (X58A-UD3R) it's running the FE bios and is not overclocked.

    The CPU is A I7 970

    Thanks

Not sure what CPU you have but if the sticks are set to spec timings and voltage, you'll want CR (Command Rate) at 2T (or 2N if using the N designator) and may want to raise the QPI/VTT Voltage about .04

You'll want the latest BIOS, FH1, which can be found here:

        http://www.gigabyte.us/products/prod...?pid=3449#bios

from there you should just be able to enable XMP and select the profile for 1600
