AMD Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H ISSUE

Hello,

I recently bought Gskill F3-10600CL9S-2GBNT ram for my new system.

But My Motherboard wont POST.

1st i tried DIMM_1(channel a) and DIMM_3(channel B) But in both slots it gives the ram beep.

then DIMM_2( Channel A) and DIMM_4 (Channel B) works. It bootup . But the system was unstable. I cannot install windows, blue screen appears while installing..

BIOS set to Auto.

Config.
AMD Phenom II x4 960BE
Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H rev 3.0
AMD 880G Chipset

RAM
2GB F3-10600CL9S-2GBNT

Unfortunately locally i only can get this ram.

Do you have the latest BIOS? and did you ensure the base timings, voltage and CR are correct?

I have the FE bios version.

I have set the DDR voltage to 1.510 other timings are default 9-9-9-24.

Also its very hard to get the system POST. Crashes after few mins.

This RAM is not listed in Motherboards QVL and neither my chipset 880g listed in Gskill chipset support list

Did you test one at a time to see if one may be bad causing problem?

You may want to try a 10666 RipJaws memory, it should work better.

Yes tried.

I managed to install Windows. And system run for while. then crashed. and gives the ram beep.

I think its the Motherboard. Randomly it boot and crash. On a crash i have to change the ram slot to re boot.
