  • F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL for ASUS M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3

    My config

CPU- AMD PhenomII X4 965 BE
    MOBO- ASUS M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3
    RAM- F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL

To day I purchage F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL and instal , till now no prblem with following settings in my bios

    DRAM Frequency- 1333MHz

    DRAM Timing Config
    DRAM Cas#Lat 9[8CLK]
    DRAM Ras# Pre Time 9[8CLK]
    DRAM Ras# Act Timing24[24CLK]
    Remaining in this menu Auto

    DRAM Voltage 1.5 [Auto]

Is this seting wrong to me ? I dont know overclock or anything . This is first time set in my bios.
Now how can I "Set CPU Host/Bus Frequency to 240 (this will overclock the memory frequency to DDR3-1600".
Is it mean- CPU/NB Frequency 2400MHz in bios.
I could not find out "CPU Host/Bus Frequency to 240 " in bios.

If you don't want to OC and leave the sticks at 1333, then try 8-8-8-24, CR (Command Rate) at 2N or 2T

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

Due to lack of knowledge to "Bios Configuration & settings, and overclock", I opt for this easy methods from "AMD CPU +G.skill DDR3-1600". If required to overclock to stable my P/C than welcome.
Now my problem is not boot so that need to press "MEM OK switch (at MOBO)" to reboot, and BSOD.
Now what should I do to stable my P/C ?

                still unstable ASUS M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3 with F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL ,
but F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL makes stable in Intel config.
The couse of unstablity is MOBO FAULTY as I install different band Ram of 1333 MHz unable to boot, so I am going to RMA this MOBO.
                Thanks

On July 23rd 2011 at 2-30 pm recevied new MOBO (different sl no ) from local service center of Asus, and install F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL with following setting . Now pass 48 hours running no problem.

                    1) Freq 1333, 8-8-8-24, CR (Command Rate) at 2T DRAM Volt 1.50v
                    2) Freq 1333, 9-9-9-24, CR (Command Rate) at 2T DRAM Volt 1.50v (no CPU Host/Bus freq to 240).

Both setting are stable. Now let me know which setting more safe.

Either one is fine, running the CL8 (8-8-8-24) should provide a bit more performance wise
