  • Issue with F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM and EVGA P67 FTW

    Mobo: Evga P67 FTW
    CPU: Intel i2600K
    Mem: F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM

I don't have anything overclocked and when I try to manually set the timings for the memory the PC goes into an endless reboot. It will power up for 2 seconds then restart and keep doing this.

On auto it sees as 9-9-9-28 1T but when I set it to the listed timings of 8-8-8-24 1.5v that is when it will not boot properly. I have tried setting the command to Auto, 1 and 2 and this does not make a difference. However if I just change the speed to 1600 and keep the timings set to auto it boots fine.

Do you have the latest BIOS? Have you tried XMP?

Also, test one module at a time to see if one has issues.

    Thank you

Looks like it was the XMP settings. Thanks. Have OC'd in about 3 years and new memory options I have to remedy myself with but thanks again
